S.K.A.T.E Star, I.C.E Star.

You may notice there have been some changes regarding the Skater Of The Month trophy. We have now introduced two cups one for the children and one for the adults in the club. However, we wanted to sum up what values best encompass the people who are chosen for the cup and the club / coaches came up with the following qualities.

S.K.A.T.E. Star: (Child) Supportive - Helps friends and less experienced skaters. Keen - Shows up for all lessons eager to learn. Always respectful - To rink, coaches and other skaters. Tries hard - Puts in plenty of practice time and works hard. Excels - Gets involved in shows/competitions etc. I.C.E. Star: (Adult) Involved - Gets involved with club events, befriends new skaters. Committed - Puts in plenty of practice. Enthusiastic - Gets out of comfort zone, always eager to learn something new.
